Alberto Seveso Alberto Seveso is a photographer that uses/mixes different colours in water to create random patterns. His work has been featured on various famous magazines, books and blogs. As a young boy, he became fascinated by the graphic of skate decks and the covers of music CD’s of metal bands in the early 90s. It’s all history from there as he takes his skills to a whole new playing field by capturing underwater ink movements through high speed liquid photography.
Laurence Demaison Laurence Demaison is a photographer that uses water to express her wonders for photography/art. She began her self-taught journey into photography in 1990. Particularly interested in the female portraits and finding it difficult to show her mental images into words she gave up on the use of models and began to use herself exclusively as the subject of her photographs.
Saul Leiter Saul Leiter is a photographer that uses water to label the original photos he had took as dramatic. This effect tells a story for most of photographs that are taken. Saul uses different patterns of water streaks to blur the photograph.
SHOOT PLAN 1
This shoot I will be doing in the same style to Alberto Seveso. I will be placing a dark colour in a glass of water and tea. The colours I am hoping to use are blue, red together and then green an blue as a second attempt While hopefully having a handful in black and white. I am going to use ink/water colours to create the colour cloud in the cup; I am hoping that they will mix and form into different cloudy patterns like Alberto's work. For this shoot I will need a cup of water, water colours. I will take some of the photos with a white background and some with a bright light shining through. The glass of water will be in focus while being surrounded by fuzzy white background. Rule of three will be used during the photo shoot. The photos will be taken from head on.
